FOREWORD

These articles are the result of the cooperation between the Institute for Planetary Synthesis and Dr. E. Krishnamacharya. It all started in 1981, when we asked Dr. Krishnamacharya to give a seminar on the Yoga of Patanjali at the IPS headquarters in Geneva. The text of that seminar was recorded, typed and edited in the form of a book ("Lessons on the Yoga of Patanjali"). The next two years, he gave seminars on the Symbolism of the Vedic Scriptures, starting with the Purusha Sukta, a Vedic hymn which describes the creation of the Universe from the Cosmic Person. These seminars were also recorded, typed and published in the form of a serial enclosed with the IPS newsletter. The same procedure was followed to prepare the text of the articles on Spiritual Astrology and New Era Healing. After Dr. Krishnamacharya passed away, the IPS continued to cooperate with teachers trained by him, including his son, Dr. E. Anantakrishna, from whose seminars part of the articles on New Era Healing are taken, and Mr. M.R.L. Rao, whose seminars form the basis of the articles on Spiritual Astrology.

The articles on the Vishnu Purana were published for the first time in "My Light", the magazine of the World Teacher Trust in India. Dr. Krishnamacharya authorised the IPS to reproduce these articles and helped edit them for the Western mentality. This work was discontinued some years after he passed away, so that only 53 chapters are now available through the IPS, either on paper or through the internet.

INTRODUCTION

Ces articles résultent de la coopération entre l'Institut pour une Synthèse Planétaire et le Dr. E. Krishnamacharya. Tout a commencé en 1981, lorsque nous avons demandé au Dr. Krishnamacharya de donner un séminaire sur le Yoga de Patanjali au siège de l'IPS à Genève. Le texte de ce séminaire fut enregistré, dactylographié et édité sous forme d'un livre ("Leçons sur le Yoga de Patanjali"). Les deux années suivantes, il a donné des séminaires sur le Symbolisme des Écritures Védiques, à commencer par le Purusha Sukta, un hymne védique qui décrit la création de l'Univers à partir de la Personne Cosmique. Ces séminaires furent également enregistrés, dactylographiés et publiés sous forme d’une série d’articles distribués avec la lettre d'information de l'IPS. Le même procédé fut suivi pour préparer le texte des articles sur l'Astrologie Spirituelle et la Guérison dans le Nouvel Âge. Après la disparition du Dr. Krishnamacharya, l'IPS a continué à coopérer avec les enseignants qu'il avait formés, y compris son fils, le Dr. E. Anantakrishna, qui a donné les séminaires qui forment la base d'une partie des articles sur la Guérison dans le Nouvel Âge, et M. M.R.L. Rao, dont les séminaires forment la base des articles sur l'Astrologie Spirituelle.

Les articles sur le Vishnu Purana ont été publiés pour la première fois dans "My Light", la revue du World Teacher Trust en Inde. Le Dr. Krishnamacharya a autorisé l'IPS à reproduire ces articles et a aidé à les éditer pour la mentalité occidentale. Ce travail a cessé quelques années après sa disparition, de sorte que seuls 53 chapitres sont disponibles par l'intermédiaire de l'IPS, sur papier ou sur l'internet.

Diese Artikel sind durch die Kooperation zwischen dem Institut für Planetarische Synthese und Dr. E. Krishnamacharya entstanden. Alles fing 1981 an, als wir Dr. Krishnamacharya baten, ein Seminar über den Yoga von Patanjali im IPS-Hauptsitz in Genf zu geben. Der Text dieses Seminars wurde aufgenommen, getippt und als Buch veröffentlicht ("Lessons on the Yoga of Patanjali", auch in Deutsch erhältlich). Die nächsten zwei Jahre gab Dr. E. Krishnamacharya Seminare über den Symbolismus der Vedische Schriften, auf der Basis der Purusha Sukta, eine vedische Hymne die die Schöpfung des Universums aus der Kosmische Person beschreibt. Anantakrishna, und Herr M.R.L. Rao. Einige Artikel über Heilen im Neuen Zeitalter stammen von Seminaren von Dr. E. Anantakrishna, und die Artikel über Spirituelle Astrologie wurden auf der Basis von Seminare von Herr M.R.L. Rao geschrieben.

Die Artikel über die Vishnu Purana wurden das erste Mal in "My Light", die Zeitschrift des World Teacher Trust in Indien, veröffentlicht. Dr. Krishnamacharya gab dem IPS die Erlaubnis, diese Artikel zu vervielfältigen und half, sie an die westliche Mentalität anzupassen. Diese Arbeit hörte einige Jahre nach seinem Heimgang auf, so dass nur 53 Kapiteln durch das IPS veröffentlicht worden sind; auf Papier und dem Internet.
